You then wrap, Ace (tm) bandage like, around damaged, leaking pipes (back and forth back and forth, overlapping itself multiple times). It dries rock hard and can handle a few hundred pounds of pressure when fully cured. If you have pipes that carry water, this is something you should have in your tool box.
